Companion Services / Community Living Supports
Therapeutic services designed to facilitate independence and promote integration into the community for a participant residing in his/her own residence or his/her family’s residence.
Day Treatment
Adult Day Treatment provides the participant with an organized framework within which to function in his/her daily activities and includes social skills training related to problematic behaviors identified in the person-centered plan, sensory or motor development, reduction or elimination of a maladaptive behavior, or prevocational skills.
Behavior Programming
The systematic application of techniques and methods designed to facilitate positive change in the participant’s behavior.
Counseling Services
Services may include substance abuse or chemical dependency treatment, building and maintaining healthy relationships, developing social or coping skills, and increasing knowledge and awareness of the effects of an ABI.
Speech Therapy
Services will include the evaluation and treatment of an individual with a speech, hearing, or language disorder. The goal of therapy is to obtain the highest possible level of functioning.
Occupational Therapy
Services include the evaluation of a participant’s level of functioning by applying diagnostic and prognostic tests. Occupational therapy guides a participant in the use of therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to assist the participant in obtaining the highest possible level of functioning.
Residential Services
Services consist of 24-hour supervision in a staffed residence and may include assistance and training with ambulation, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, bathing, meal planning/preparation, laundry, budgeting, cleaning, leisure, medication management, and transportation.
Respite Services
Services can be provided to a participant who is unable to administer self-care and requires services on a short-term basis due to the absence or need for relief of a non-paid primary caregiver.
